Tournament Information
Our Annual Summer Competition will run on Saturday 1st July at the Hamble Sports Complex, Southampton, SO31 4NE.
Tournament Entry is open until 9:00pm on Friday 30th June. Ticket options are below:
Early Bird – £25 per person (available until 1st June)
Standard – £30 per person (available until 28th June)
Late Entry – £40 per person (available on 29th & 30th June) Spectators are free.
FAMILY TICKETS
Family Discounted tickets are purchasable when register for this event. Simply select the applicable ticket for how many family members you are entering and then complete the details of the most senior ranked family member in the initial boxes, then complete any remaining details in the “Additional Information” box.
NOTE: you only need to select 1 ticket when purchasing a Family Ticket or you will be charged more than once
(FAMILY TICKETS ONLY APPLY to immediate family members/households. Any misuse of this option will result in a the registration being void, without refund and a full price ticket then needed to re-register).
Event Schedule
- 8:45am – Set Up & Instructors Meeting
- 9:15am – Adults, Orange to Black Belt
- 10:30am – Teenagers, Orange to Black Belt
- 12:00pm – Black Belt Juniors
- 1:15pm – Lil’ Dragons/Cubs and White, Grey & Yellow* Belt All Ages
- 2:00pm – Brown & Red Belt Juniors
- 3:00pm – Blue & Purple Belt Juniors
- 4:00pm – Orange & Green Belt Juniors
*White, Grey or Yellow Belts that do NOT yet spar, must compete at 1:15pm with One Steps. White, Grey & Yellow Belts that DO spar will compete at 9:15am for Adults, 10:30am for Teenagers, 4:00pm for Juniors.
PLEASE NOTE
- You must enter the competitors name, NOT the name of the person completing the registration i.e. the parent.
- Division are arranged based on rank, age & height.
- Please enter accurate details as incorrect information may lead to disqualification.
- Age categories
- LIL’ DRAGONS/CUBS – ages 3 to 7
- JUNIOR A – ages 5 to 7
- JUNIOR B – ages 8 to 12
- TEENS – ages 13 to 15
- ADULT A – ages 16 to 21
- ADULT B – ages 22 to 29
- ADULT C – ages 30 to 39
- ADULT D – ages 40+
- Competitors aged 12 and 16 may be put up or down into the Teenagers Divisions based on their height.
- Competitors aged 13 may be put down into the Junior B Division based on their height.
- Junior Age Categories A & B and Adult Age Categories A – D may merge if divisions can not be made otherwise.

PLEASE NOTE: White Events Uniform/Dobok is to be worn by all competitors and Instructors

Those entering this event have full knowledge that by nature tournament participation can frequently include strenuous exercise and body contact along with associated dangers. In recognition of the possible dangers connected with any kind of physical activity, competitors hereby knowingly and voluntarily waive any right of cause or action of any kind whatsoever arising as a result of such activity from which any liability may or could accrue to the Basingstoke school of martial arts, Phoenix School of Martial Arts (SMA) or Reading Taekwondo Academy, their officers, agents, employees or instructors or any other club/school that is taking part in this event.
