Abi’s primary teaching and training focus is BJJ. Nonetheless, her long-term experience allows her to hold a position as a TKD Examiner Panel Member. Abi teaches in our Wednesday TKD classes. She also heads our Ladies Only BJJ that runs at Hamble.

Daniel has been a member of Phoenix SMA since he was 9 years old. He began assisting in classes when he was a teenager and as now recently achieved his Certified Instructor status. As well as teaching and training in both TKD & BJJ, Daniel is a keen competitor. He has won many competitions and maintained an undefeated run throughout his teens.
You will also regularly see other Certified Instructors in classes and events.

Our Instructor Qualification
All Instructors must enter into our Instructor Programme to teach and help in classes. We now use a vocational approach to this programme, rather than having the need to attend courses throughout the year. The programme incorporates the Martial Arts Instructor UK (MAIUK) that is overseen by the Cobra Martial Association. Both criteria must be met to advance through the Instructor Qualification levels.
