RULING SUMMARY
FORMS (Patterns, Tuls)
Within designated divisions, each competitors will show their chosen Form. They will then be scored by 3 judges between 1 and 5 points (including half points). These will be totalled to determine 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. If there is a tie for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place, the competitors will have to perform again. Judges will signal the victor once both/all have completed their chosen Form.

SPARRING
All Sparring divisions will use a Double Elimination Format (this will allow a minimum of 2 rounds per person). If you lose your first round you will drop into the repercharge. This will still give competitors the chance of achieving a medal place. If you lose a second round (unless it’s the final round for 1st or 2nd place), you will not earn a medal place.
Juniors will use Point Stop Sparring. Rounds will be 90 seconds. Each time a point/s are scored, the centre judge will call “break” and all judges will show points/strikes. Two judges must agree for points/strikes to be awarded.
All Teens, Adults, and Seniors will use Light Continuous Sparring. Judges allocate scores using clickers throughout each 60 second round. Competitors will not be stopped when scoring each point. At the end of the round, each judge will show the winner with the most scored points to determine the winner. In the unlikely event of a tie, competitors will be given an additional 30 second round. Corner judges will then present scores. If there is a tie again, the Centre Judge must determine a winner. The only exception is if there is a group of 3 or 4 when a Round Robin Format will be used in place of Double Elimination.

BOARD BREAKING
All Board Breaking divisions will offer competitors 4 breaking options. They will have the choice of a range of different difficulty boards which will be worth certain amount of points. They will get one attempt to break each chosen station to earn the allocated points. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded based on the total points scored.
This event will also see a “Champions Award” to the competitor with the most points in each time slot.
PLEASE NOTE: White Events Uniform/Dobok is to be worn by all competitors.
