Brazilian Jiu Jitsu uses the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger, heavier opponent. Use of proper technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground to apply a submissions. Sparring (or rolling) plays a significant role in training.

Our club is a member of Team Paraestra UK, headed by Jeff “Ippon” Lawson.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, restrictions are currently in place. You may only train with someone in your support bubble or use a stuffed gi or training dummy.
